Who did you make your Naomh Treasa début against? Cloughmills in hurling at Dunloy – Danny forgot the jerseys so we had to wear a Dunloy kit. I borrowed the number 10 and accidentally forgot to return it.
Favourite thing about Naomh Treasa? The banter and the membership fees.
Favourite position? Played in all, excelled in all
Football or hurling (or both)? Hurling in 05 and 08, football every other year.
What’s your favourite music? Chipmunk is an all time favourite but glad to see Dappy making a return, he's had it rough over the years. Favourite song of all time is Ebony and Ivory by Stevie Wonder and Paul McCartney, it was number one the day I was born.
What’s your favourite TV show? Women's darts – love Geordie Shoreand Ex on the Beach.
What’s your favourite movie? Donkey Punch
What inter county player would you like on the Naomh Treasa team? Colm ‘Gooch’ Cooper – just to see who really has the biggest ears in Ireland– him or Piaras.
What 5 people alive or dead would you invite to a dinner party? Cass for the buffet, Dominic Mooney for the beats, Sleepy for the stories and any 2 from Magorrian and Dominic Adams.
What would you change about your game? Nothing at all
What are your hobbies outside the GAA? Astrology and badger baiting
Who is the worst/laziest player at training? Worst – Toss up Tim or Bill – Laziest possibly myself
Naomh Treasa player you admire the most? Glennon – for all the stick he gets he just keeps coming back for more
What’s the best piece of advice you ever received? Never make drunken phone calls and never trust someone who puts in the milk first then the cereal.
What’s your favourite GAA memory? Captaining the hurlers to not 1 but 2 junior titles.
Who is the best hurler and footballer you have ever seen? Hurler Colm Sands and Footballer Conor McCloskey – improved so much since his All Ireland run with Citi Bank – shame about his personality, but most people from Loughgeil are like that.
Biggest influence on your sporting career? Conor McGregor – we are practically the same fighter – difference is I chose not to go pro – more money to be made in mortgages.
